Bidra med feedbackA chance for a busy school holiday on Sunday evening without booking, they managed to wait us (4) after a few minutes. a very popular place, large community bench. a loud room, but ok. not somewhere for an intimate romantic date, but great for big parties, although book them before to make sure they get a table. Eating is Japanese and other Asian styles melted together, quite delicious. vegan friendly with many options. eating comes as prepared to ensure that it is hot and the aromen flavors are optimal to use. we enjoyed the bang bang cauliflower, it warns deep peace (as some serve,) sweet spicy. I had a yasai itame, a nude, tofu herbal green lemongrass coconut curry. it was marked as spicy, but I did not season, that was in order, but I added the sauce from the bang cauli to him, because that is what I do! my family ate meat dishes, they looked good. a great place to keep vegan carnivores happy. the personal was very friendly and helpful for us for the first time wagamama diners. highly recommended. cheap and large portions. our family of four, with 2 teens, 3 entrees, 3 net, 4 drinks one side of rice ~NZD117.00
Food was tasty and filling. The food is traditional ramen-type restaurant food and as a bonus the menu has nice little explanations what the dish is like. The place looks very clean and orderly. You can see the cooks in action. The service was quick, welcoming and friendly. The location is by the beautiful Wellington quayside and the place has a good view to the ocean. I definitely recommend Wagamama.
Not bad....little bit disappointed with the food. Chicken overcooked, but fantastic favours in the soup itself. Beers was tasty...nothing on draught tho. Worth checking out. The view of the harbour is outstanding. The photo posted is not quite the same view...but gives you a flavour of what you may be able to see...particularly if you sit near the windows during sunset. Hope that helps.
We are regulars at wagamama in Auckland and decided to try Wellington. Ordered the same dish and the portion size in welly was much smaller. Firecracker chicken. Good service. Restaurant was really busy to. That maybe the reason. Pictures from both restaurant's attached. Would still go back.
Carreraisu was nice (strong smokey flavor). Chicken/Prawn Yaki Udon didn't have a lot of that in it. Hated the upselling the servers tried to do multiple times. Also they want you to spend 5$ for water, the tap water is just fine. Will not go back, there's so many better places to eat.
