Ortega - Wellington

I recently visited this restaurant in Wellington and I must say, their dessert was amazing, but it's the steak and fries that I crave the most. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

This is my favorite restaurant in wellington. we were asked to enter for a drink and once I put the eyes on the menu, there was none.

The staff at this restaurant is absolutely incredible. They provided me with great recommendations and were very accommodating, despite the fact that the restaurant was quite full. They advised me to reserve a table a day in advance. The service was quick and the food was delicious. I ordered the tuatua in tomato and basil sauce with sourdough bread. Although the portion size was generous, I thought it was a bit small for me personally, but might be too small for a larger person. My muesli dish was mainly filled with fruit, as I had requested extra sourdough bread. Apart from that, I enjoyed everything else.

This restaurant is truly exceptional, offering incredible food and drinks. The quality of the dishes is on par with five-star Michelin establishments, and the service is friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Be sure to try the squid, blue warehou, and smoked blue moki rillettes - all delicious. This is one of the best restaurants in Wellington.
