Bidra med feedbackA little more than 50% of the menu items are vegetarian or vegan friendly (I counted) and the waiter awakens the confidence that their request to make an item vegan is honored. we enjoyed the guacamole, chimichangas and enchiladas (with impossibility pork,) all loaded with a lot of sweet and interesting sauces and seasoning. the atmosphere is a lively counterpart to the funny jackson street scene. the decorations on three huge walls (the fourth is mostly glass) are a look to see. the only part was our experience when entering the restaurant: despite many empty tables and no one standing in front of us in the line and waited 10 minutes while no employee recognized our existence. three employees went over and over again and seemed to avoid making eye contact. After 10 minutes of invisibility, we looked rude when a five-headed party came in behind us and was greeted and sat immediately (we learned later that they had kept before) then I was sung. this is an extremely respectless way to treat customers. a simple person will be with them at a moment, would have unraveled our growing frustration. every employee should be trained to welcome new arrival when they have a reason to think they are the first to see them. even if the table service was good, this bad first impression had a lasting effect that made our experience less pleasant.
Good atmosphere, wide range of vegan options and delicious cocktails
Many good options. small portions for but still super yum especially if they like sharp. nice representative of the Mexican kitchen.
I was very and pleasantly surprised by the choice for vegans here. we had midday sleep and everything was amazing (and we are hard to please! the waitress was brilliant, super friendly and knowledgeable and we appreciate her trust in that know exactly what vegan ate! absolutely delicious food, great value and we were so full that we had to roll out the door! can really recommend well made team petone!
I had the chimichangas and potato skin wedges. The potatoes were a tiny bit undercooked, but still edible. The sauce on them was divine. The chimichangas were AMAZING, and the salsa with them was sooooooo good! I'll be back again for sure!
