Field Green - Wellington

Perfect for the brunch we ordered a chess, kedgeree, beetroot and chicken chindel. this is my favorite restaurant in wellington. I never had a bad court here.

Loved this place! The customer service was top notch. All the staff were super friendly and accomodating which we really appreciated. Me and my husband both ordered the french toast with bacon, it was absolutely delicious and up there with the best french toast we've ever had! My only feedback would be that it's quite a small portion, for our standards anyway. We are quite big eaters and they just give one thick piece of toast, I think it would be amazing if the dish came with two pieces instead, even if they were to raise the price slightly to be able to do this. Thanks for a lovely brunch team!

Good food and sharing plates. Enough for a taste for 3 of us. Dine Wellington menu was pretty good service was great. Fairly expensive. Not normally a fan of duck most places do not do it well....it was pretty good here. Overall very solid would go back.

As a visitor to the city I had not heard of Field Green prior to being invited for brunch. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I ordered the rye pancakes with salmon and dill. Goodness gracious it was delicious I'd lick the plate and reorder it in a heartbeat. Sadly no photo as I was too busy savouring it.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy the Chefs Bar experience. We have gone twice already. It is fascinating seeing the inner workings of a restaurant kitchen on a busy night while enjoying a delicious five course meal (with very generous portions). My husband was very impressed with the wine matches with very generous pours. If you want an entertaining night out with tasty food at a reasonable price, this place is for you. I definitely recommend the marmalade ice cream too!
