Bidra med feedbackI usually like this restaurant but tonight we walked out after an hour and a half without any food. Waited half hour for an onion soup then an hour and no main courses. Had to ask for bread we were hungry! . Little follow up when waiting so long. I understand under staffed post pandemic, yadda yadda, but they didn?t seem to care about the customer tonight!
We were really looking forward to our dinner. First we were seated, then asked to move because our chair would be in the way of another reservation. Okay, we grab our stuff and move to a table crammed in a walk way. Get our appetizers, which were verygood. Dinner comes and two of the meals do not match the menu. We mention this and they take it back to fix it. (Not a minordifference otherwise we would have not said anything, completely different) Okay, it happens. Then the food comes back. Thebread was burned and like a rock. Literally, not edible. We advised the waitress and she said she would speak to the manager.They reduced the check by 3 dollars. We spent 40 dollars on food they threw in the trash. This is just bad business. Mistakeshappen, it's how you resolve it that builds customer loyalty.
Beer cheese soup and stuffed dates were wonderful. Our burger was overcooked and appeared to be a frozen patty. Would go back, would never order the burger.
I had high hopes for our dinner. My wife had the portobello ravioli with chicken and it was bad. Chicken was overcooked and underseasoned. The rest of the table had a French dip and filet. They enjoyed their meals. I had the gluten free shrimp &scallop Risotto and I would rate it as just okay. I would not return. Might have just been an off night as I've seen manypositive reviews in my online foodie groups, unfortunately, they didn't live up to their reputation. If we weren't in a timecrunch we would've sent my wife's dish back.
Best place to eat in the western communities! I have been eating here since they opened and love every meal. Today was Pistachio crusted Salmon with string beans and I opted for the delicious spinach instead of a starch. started the meal with My favoriteBeef and barley soup. If you want a great appetizer we went with the Bacon rapped Figs. Gorgeous night for outside seating!
