The World's End - Wellingborough

In terms of the food, we had previously enjoyed the mushroom starter, but this time we were disappointed to receive only half the portion we had been given in the past. The dish consisted of only about three chopped mushrooms, which was not worth the price, especially considering that the portion size used to be larger. The wait for our mains was nearly an hour, and when the food finally arrived, it was clear that it had been sitting on a hotplate for a while. The sauce on the salmon had dried up completely, and the chips were undercooked while the mash was cold. We were so cold and had waited so long that we couldn't bear to send the food back and wait even longer for them to fix it. Despite our initial intention to have dessert and coffee, we decided to leave due to the cold temperature and the risk of further delays in receiving our order. We ended up going elsewhere for dessert and coffee.

I made a last-minute reservation for Sunday lunch, and even though the restaurant was busy, they were able to accommodate us. I was very impressed overall. We were greeted pleasantly upon arrival, our table was ready at the agreed-upon time, the service was prompt and friendly, and the food was excellent with generous portions. I will definitely be coming back.

This restaurant is absolutely outstanding. We had the most amazing Sunday lunch here. The quality of the meats and vegetables was superb. Yesterday, we went to a different restaurant for lunch at the same price and it was terrible in comparison. The young staff here were excellent, so polite and couldn't do enough for us. Despite living close by for 8 years, we had never been before, but that will change now. This will be my first choice for my birthday next month. Thank you for a truly lovely meal and afternoon.

Watched 4 in a bed not impressed with your tactics to win .the other bed and breakfast owners came out better they didn't play games and cheat to win . wouldn't stay at your pub the reviews speak for themselves
