Wellesley Tavern

Pretty disappointed in our visit. We had a reservation and we’re promptly seated to celebrate my sons 7th birthday. No one came to welcome us or take even a drink order for over 10 minutes until a waitperson came by and asked if we had been seen, at chich point when we said no, he took our table. We ordered a bottle of moderately priced Sancerre which arrived open, a complete dismissal of basic wine etiquette. Three out of five in our group ordered fish tacos which were bland and soggy. Hoping they can improve and don’t waste an opportunity to shine.

We love having this restaurant in town! The food is consistently great! Our server, Katie was excellent we have had her serve us in the past! The menu is perfect we loved the shrimp appetizer and their quac is great. I have loved the surf and turf but tried the pad thai with salmon it was delicious! My husband had the kale/cobb salad which he loved. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I always have delicious food and good service there . . . it never disappoints!

Food service was fine but the bar service was terrible. We ordered our drinks 10 min before the food but ended up getting our food before our drinks and then we complained as such and they were able to then get us our drinks.

Extremely slow service and very hot inside, everyone was sweating and so uncomfortable. Food was great but way overpriced. Drinks were not great, and very small glass of wine for $17.
