Bidra med feedbackHey, I was so happy to found this green place, after a lot of days of rice and curry. Since I found this place I come every day back : . Great smoothie bowls, porridge, Rotis with homemade hummus peanut butter, bowls with zucchini noodles and delicious raw powerball and coffee with organic coconut milk. The atmosphere and vibes are lovely and you can sit outside with sea view. So if you close to Weligama don't miss this place ;
If you are looking for a great coffee, quite atmosphere and very good food including smoothies and raw food I totally recommend this place!
You have to walk into the Green Peace Inn Yoga Health Cafe building in the first floor. Is has an very nice inside and outside area to sit. The food is very delicious and mostly organic, too. We loved everything on the menu!
They serve amazing tasty smoothies and different kind of vegan raw food. Everything I tried was very tasty. The coffee was definitely one of the best in Sri Lanka.
My partner and I were in the green peace inn for a week in the januar 2020 for a yoga and meditation retreat. Not only was the retreat of our life changed, we were also fed some of the most delicious vegan food we ever had. the operators of retreat, alex and martina, are incredibly grounded, friendly and knowledgeable about yoga, meditation, consciousness, etc. and they are very happy and positiw. we had provided every day two yoga courses from different trains (on and pm,) three guided meditations during the week, a group singing circle (which was amazing) during the week and a group atemberaubung (which was also amazing) during the week. there were also enough downtimes to go to the beach (about 20 meters away) at the inn (there are many places to relax,) in which we are prepared to go to the portions were great and at the end of the meal there were always additional food when someone was still hungry. after dinner, a vegan dessert was also provided every night. eating was something everyone was happy before every meal, each being unique and creatiw. it was clear that a lot of love went to eat in each. we appreciate the time we took before each meal to think of something we were grateful, followed by the smell of food and the search for the colors and textures of eating. there was a great focus on being present during eating. the yoga classes were of high quality and varied in difficultness. morning classes were faster occupied Vinyasa classes and evening classes were restorative/yin classes, which was a perfect set-up. Yoga courses were suitable for all flat ones and there was a lot of instruction about the right orientation of the poses. guided meditations were also great, provided with many good instruction and various types of meditations. the group wallpaper session was amazing and inspiring. they also offer private breathing exercises that we did and were worth it. to the other positive ones: freer rotten throughout the day (with many different sorts, all grown and produced in sri lanka), free water replenishment (and encouragement to bring their own reusable water bottle) would recommend a focus on no plastic and minimal waste, a library, books from borrowing, yoga mates/blocks/breads all too. we will try to visit in future more exercises in the green peace inn.
