Bidra med feedbackFood is average. Price is cheap. But the lady owner is very stingy. I asked for an extra pair of chopsticks and she gave a lecture saying that it's only one pair of utensils per order!!! She's giving a second pair out of her kindness and as an exception. Wow! Cost of the wooden disposable chopsticks, $0.01.
Prices were good and portion was generous but if they're busy you have to wait longer time.
Back again at Mississauga Chinese Centre Sino Mall food court on a Sunday midmorning. Our usual Chinese takeout place was busy and not accepting new orders when we got here at 11:20AM so, rather than leave empty-handed, I decided to finally give Wokman's Kitchen a try. I browsed the food photos and menu lists in front of the counter looking for familiar dishes. I started to place my order, general tao chicken--I specified not spicy, but the young female staff quickly interrupted me to say spiciness cannot be adjusted and instead suggested a similar dish, sweet and sour chicken. Thus my final order became sweet and sour chicken $9.50 , Cantonese chow mein $9 and broccoli with garlic sauce $9.50 . This place looked like they only take cash payment, I've never seen anyone pay anything but cash here, so I didn't bother to ask if they take debit or credit card. Prior to ordering, I was immediately told that wait time would be 20 mins. Two young women man the counter while an older couple maybe parents? work in the kitchen. As we sat down to wait, I noticed a constant stream of people walk to the counter and realized they have all ordered ahead of us and were waiting for their food. Unsurprisingly, our wait time took much longer, close to 40 mins. When we finally got our food, I had to ask for chopsticks and napkins. Wokman's Kitchen turned out to be another cheap Chinese takeout option here at Mississauga Chinese Centre food court. Wait time could be long depending on how many people got their orders in ahead of you but food is worth the wait. Everything tastes as expected. Quality is comparable to the other counter also serving Chinese food although Wokman's Kitchen is more Hong Kong style cuisine. Price is cheap and portions are generous. Would order here again and try more from their wide menu.
Portions were good for the price but we were not impressed with the quality. We did not even finish the food. Next time we pass through Mississauga, we may give it a second chance with other dishes but truly bad first experience.
Consistently decent Chinese Canto food including chow mein and fried fish with corn sauce. Nice portions for the price. One of the best parts of this place is that they use less salt. The food can take a long time to cook especially during lunch time so be patient. The lady working there is one of the friendliest I've ever dealt with at a Chinese takeout place.Parking: Extremely bad parking layout. There's better parking on the east side of the mall but you have to walk around the building to get to most of the stores including the food court.
