Gavids Steak House - Waynesboro

This restaurant serves one of the best steaks you can imagine. The food bar looks like a treat, but I was too full to try it. The mushroom dish was amazing. I could only manage a small portion of dessert, but the soft ice cream was the best I've ever had - it tasted like it was homemade. The only downside is that I have to drive 200 miles to get there, but I always stop by when I'm in the area.

The food at this restaurant was fresh, flavorful, and had its own unique touch. However, I was disappointed with my chicken dish as the sauce was bland and the chicken was not seasoned well. The prices were reasonable, with the buffet option costing close to $10.00 and the best value being the duck buffet. A typical meal with a drink was around $15.00. The restaurant was clean and the staff and management were friendly, efficient, and attentive. The only downside was that the restaurant was not very accessible for individuals with disabilities, as the entrance was narrow and there was not enough space between the doors for a walker or wheelchair. It would be helpful to remove the inner door to improve accessibility. Despite this, I would still recommend giving this restaurant a try.

The food was delicious as always. The service was excellent, especially the waitresses who always impressed us. However, the recent price hike has made dining here too expensive for us. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. Our bill came to $55 for the four of us, including two adults and two children (ages 11 and 13), without any vouchers or discounts.

I was there twice when my wife and I ordered the steaks. Was super nice cuts and delicate. The 2nd trip we made the potatoes and buffet, the Hamburger Steak Gravy was off the hook. The only problem was that they could not sustain with the demand of people to eat everything. That's good. We noticed both trips that the employees never stopped working. They were busy doing their stations or cleaning and checking their customers. Clean and extremely friendly family food. I highly recommend them.

Our first visit and it was quite enjoyable. Salad bar and food bar were neat and featured good variety. Home made onion rings were awesome. Chicken tenders, real mashed potatos, mac-n-cheese. Yeah buddy! Staff always keeping an eye out for plates and drinks. The booths, chairs, and layout very clean! Many happy returns are in order.
