Detroit 500 - Wayne

Nice airport, sometimes you will find cheap flights from Chicago O'Hare. Waiting times are not long if you have no luggage. Would recommend check in online. Many options for food / drinks / coffee .

For a larger airport it is quite easy to get here. The uniform card counter was great. From you checked on your app, all you had to do was step up to an empty counter, scan your boarding pass and put the day on the bag and you were safe.

Surprisingly beautiful airport. Sushi, fresh fruit market was a nice touch. Not much open after 10. The bathrooms were clean and had doors almost to the ground, which was nice. Tram is useful to get to the other end of the terminal quickly.

I love the airport because it is always a smooth navigation through the bankruptcies and gates. The floor and plan are friendly for long walks. Always a good exercise if not in a hurry to connect. You also have the Express Tram for your rescue if in a hurry. Then many shops, lounges for luxury travelers.

Nice spacious clean, I love how it's easy and smooth to navigate. I had a 2 hours wait between two flights and I absolutely enjoyed the walk. Lots of stores and food.
