Emmets Social Table- Waxhaw

Pretty solid place! My plates were excellent. The tuna poke avocados are probably the best thing on the menu. A friend got the pork belly tacos and they were pretty bad. We also noticed another plate of pork belly tacos that someone barely touched. I would probably avoid those.

Emmets is a unique experience and wonderful treat! Your small plates come out as ordered and are great for exchange among small groups. For larger groups plan to order several to share the table. Incredibly unique dishes and well prepared dishes, the food is delicious and a fun experience in and from itself. Especially we enjoyed the wings, nachos and Tritip. Service was amazing. We were originally sitting in a side room and it was unbearable. When we asked to move the waitress who was obligated and friendly. The entire environment is electric and intimate for a delightful evening of great food, drinks and entertainment. Very recommended, please see some records we enjoyed on the photos

Yoooo this place is DELICIOUS! Came here for my 2nd anniversary with my husband and we have a few small plates and omg it was SO GOOD! The bbq nachos were amazing, the fried deviled eggs were tasty, and our bartender offered the bbq Mac n cheese as it used to be on the menu, but they still had the ingredients to make it and I?m so glad that they mentioned it for us because it is the bestttttt! And they all do their sauces in the house that came with the French pommes and only wore the ranch, Queso and ketchup was incredible. I'm so happy with our experience and the food I can't stop talking about. Come back! We also have drinks and they were good! If I gave this place a million stars. Officially one of my most popular restaurants.

We will go back. Wanted to state that up front because the experience was a mixed bag. The food in general was very good, with an opportunity for the salad that was served with WAY too much vinegar dressing. The greeting at the front door was poor. The hostess looked like she was tired and wanted to be anywhere else. Took us to our table, dropped the menus and took off. Service was very slow, which was surprising because the place was half empty on a Sunday evening. Korean wings were excellent. Pork belly tacos were very good and the flatbread was good too. Margarita was too strong, but better than the reverse, right? We added a little water and stirred it up and were happy with it. The waiter, although slow, was pleasant and upbeat. Covid protocols were not evident with most of the staff, which is a minus, and one plate had a hair in it. Lots of issues, but the food flavors and recipes will bring us back to give it another try.

We tried several dishes at Emmets and all were absolutely delicious! My favorite was the smoked mac w/pulled pork?the cheese sauce is DIVINE. We also enjoyed the mill fries, Korean wings, tenderloin, ribs and short ribs. The food also came out super fast and fresh. We will be back soon!
