Costa Coffee - Waveney

Situated in the tesco store it's possible to enjoy the full range of costa coffees. The service often seems slow and so not a choice if you just have a few minutes to spare.

If you need a space to open your laptop, work without being disturbed and enjoy a reliably good and hot cup of coffee, then Costa usually delivers. There are few other spaces that get close to this very satisfactory formula.

Me my stepson visited on Saturday. It was busy, long queue. But no sorry to keep you waiting not even a smile from any of the staff. Vacant bored staff, they need a lesson in customer service. There was dirty dish cloths piled up on the counter behind the staff, dirty area 's. Stuff stored on the floor behind the counter. There are plenty of other options for a good coffee/pot of tea in Beccles, so use them! I would recommend this Costa.

Went here for lunch today. Picked out a flatbread from the fridge, the server was having difficulty attracting another servers attention for him to put said flatbread in the grill...so what did she do? She threw my flatbread at him (also known as my lunch). We are not talking about throwing it the length of the whole store but even so I thought this was incredibly unproffessional and I was not impressed at all. The tables and trays are grubby too. Caffe Nero for me every time.

By yourself.. with a friend there is always someone to speak too.. New manager now Liam Smith who is keeping the place ship shape. Because it is part of Tescos, only £1 for a pot of tea for one person. Very good value. Before or after your shopping. Friendly staff.
