I haven't been here in 15+ years and OMG! Was delicious! It's not so dark like it used to be, much better! I got the Thursday special, which was the Mexican Skillet (bottom plate), definitely recommend! My cousin got a burrito of some sort, and she recommends as well! We will be back!
I have to say, I 'm pleasantly surprised! We were invited out to this Mexican restaurant in the middle of a corn field and I was worried. Unnecessary! The poor man 's lobster was SO good! Home made rye that was so soft, homemade slaw that made us all LICK THE BOWL, fish that melted in my mouth. My husband ate the chimichanga and while I was not an 'authentic ' chimi, he raved about the flake crust and delicious insides. Good job! Clean bathrooms and well decorated. We will be back!

If you are in Wausau, how lucky are you? You have the opportunity to bite into and savor the BEST chimis on the planet. Huge, crispy shelled, filled with tender delicious meat, sour cream, topped with melted wisco cheese and crisp lettuce. Have a look at the wild side of your appetite and enjoy it being satisfied! Try one once and you will go back for more! I am partial to the shredded beef, but there are many choices including VEGETARIAN style.
