El Charro Mexican Grill - Waunakee

Food always comes fast and hot. The salsa is awesome. You get mass quantities of quality food. It can be a bit loud at lunch, but at dinner I have not seen this. Prices are reasonable. We have done takeout with the same good results.

We were a group of 7, and were seated immediately and orders taken for beverages right away. Delicious chips and plenty of salsa were brought to the table, and notice I said PLENTY of salsa! Our meals were served quickly and were spectacular. Kudos to the cooks and servers for a great lunch experience.

The best authentic Mexican food around! I order twice a week minimum of El Charro. Not a bad experience in the 20 plus times I ordered food. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. Food is good from this world! No complaints here only endless compliments and a happy customer!! Thank you El Charro!

I live downtown but I’ll make the trip to come here. I’ve been here a couple of times now and will definitely be back soon! The food is just SO damn good. Every time. Lunch menu is also underrated.

So we went in pretty late. I was with 4 other people. I ordered the flautas with rice and beans. At the time, it was delicious. Over night, I was sick to my stomach. I'm not holding it against the restaurant it could have been something else I ate that day. I will give it another try. If I get sick again I'll change my review.
