Golden Gate - Waukesha

Ordered Shrimp Hong Sui and an egg roll. I have been ordering from Golden Gate for many years, and the last several times have been not good. Not sure what they put in the egg roll , but it was nothing I have ever seen. The Hong Sui shrimp were mostly batter and tasted like old oil . Very disappointed.

It's better than other Chinese takeout close to me, worth the extra drive. Everything I ordered was as good or better than I expected: egg roll, fried chicken appetizer, hot sour soup, combination fried rice, kung pao beef, chicken egg foo young

Picked up food for takeout. I’m not sure how this restaurant has such a high rating. The main dishes we ordered were Mongolian beef, beef broccoli, and chicken lo mein. The Mongolian beef and beef broccoli both tasted very similar. They were both set in a gravy that tasted like brown turkey gravy. The meat in all three dishes were tough and tasted very cheap. Very disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. Will not be ordering from here again.The service was excellent. The manager seemed very nice, and was polite.

Love this place! They have the best sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken! The fried rice is also amazing! I always get take out, they package their food well so it stands up to the drive home!

Wait staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Orange chicken was delicious!
