Catrachos - Waukegan

Here for the first time and loved it! The pig tits were the most delicious pigeon I ever had. It was not dry, had a bit of a smokey taste, was filled with rice, pork, potato and carrot, and quite good size, more the size of a burritos. All right! Place is clean, they are super friendly and fast service. Will definitely eat again!

Really good food! I am really impressed by the place and service as it was my first time visited and was not sure what to expect... the venue is small and honest not very welcome when you go first, but the staff is friendly. I just knew what to order because I had a friend from Honduras: The Baleada was initially a little intimidating, but very tasty. The pastlitos were amazing. The red tomato sauce is very good. I wanted to order a soup, but they were all out. All good food.

Hole in the wall type Spot!!!! For my military personnel stationed in NAVSTA GreatLakes and looking for something other than Mexican, that's the place!! Staff are very friendly to Earth and if you don't understand what you see, they will explain it to you. This place is NOT expensive, and you get a lot of food. Remember that this place is not mexican. The only negative is that they need to expand their menu.

Great restaurant! Beyond the food, the service and attention to detail was excellent, I appreciate how attentive the staff was to take the time to check on us and chat with us about how we enjoyed us and the experience.

Delicious! I got a baleada completa and was very impressed. 10/10 would recommend.
