Plaice '4 ' Taste - Watford

Surprisingly good, despite what some locals might suggest! The beautifully cooked squid was large and fresh, and it was reasonably priced. Godfreys in Bushey could easily earn a 5-star rating, but I’d give this place a solid 4.

The kebabs and fish and chips here are fantastic! The prices are affordable, and the owner is friendly. You really can't go wrong with the support from the local community!

Tonight, I visited for 2 large portions of chips with salt and vinegar. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman in a pleasant environment that even had a Christmas tree. The service was quick, and the staff were very attentive. I would categorize this as a basic chip shop, but based on my first experience, it impressed me. For the plaice, I would give a personal rating of '4', while the taste deserves a perfect 10/10.

Great place for fish and chips, excellent value.
