Everything was phenomenal. The pasta I had with the arctic char was so good! We picked the place because it had so many seafood options on the menu. We were initially turned away because it was a busy night for reservations. But the host, Gordon, was so awesome. He made it work for us between an upcoming reserved space. We were very impressed with the service and even more impressed with the food. 11/10, would definitely enthusiastically recommend.
The escargot is delicious as well as the tiger shrimp!
Expensive, but worth it. (Make a reservation) Had the Maine crab cakes for the appetizer, paired well with the lemon aioli. I had the Seafood Newberg. While the sauce was a little runny, the seafood was perfectly cooked. The rice and green beans were also yummy. Highly recommend.
Recommendation for our Anniversary. Researched ahead of time. They were right about getting there early to have the best selection (out of everything scallop and the stroganoff when we arrived. Out of most desserts by the end). Every bite of food was as I'd expected, and we went in with high expectations. Shrimp Cocktail (HUGE shrimp), Escargot (not at all chewy), Salmon (Husband asked if I could learn to make it), Ahi Tuna with the Deviled Egg Cavatappi subbed for rice cause I wanted to try it. Literally every bite was delicious. Our Server was clearly stressed, but there were a lot of guests and he was hustling. He hid a piece of cheesecake for my Husband, which he wouldn't have gotten otherwise. The only other choice was the Lemon Cake, but that's what I would have chosen anyway. Very happy.
