Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I stopped in on a cold Saturday for lunch. I'd been wanting to come here to try the Korean food I had lived in Korea for four years and became a huge fan of homestyle Korean cooking. This place lived up to the expectations! The place is a bit off the beaten trail but not too far from the Ft Drum gate. Inside it is small and simply decorated. There's plenty of parking. My wife had the Japjae Bap (seasoned glass noodles with beef and rice) and I had the Soontubu Chigae (fresh soft tofu in a spicy stew with rice). Everything was cooked just right, with great flavor. There were three side dishes all homemade paechu kimchee, pickled cucumber, and sweet sliced radish. All of the food is more typical of what you'd find in someone's house in Korea than a fancy restaurant we enjoyed it very much! Service was polite, friendly, and fast. The staff is very nice and seem to love doing what they do.
I like the food here, but it is really expensive for what you get. For the same amount of money you can go to one of the big name places that has a good atmosphere. Dont expect to get out of the place for less than fifty dollars if there is more than one person. I would have gone more often if it wasn't for the price. They should take a note and realize that people will come more often if their prices are good and not gouge them the one time they come in every once in a while.
Portion size so generous from meal last night I had leftovers to make a salad for lunch. Food always delicious. Cannot go wrong ordering from here.
Excellent food. Great service keep it up. A perfect 10.
I Love, love, love this place!
