The Lakeside Chophouse Wine

We dined here in trepidation the day after we 'd dined at its sister restaurant in the same hotel and had a terrible meal. But it was a complete 180°! Our server, Brad, was engaged, hilarious, prompt and attentive. Our cocktails were well-made and interesting, the wine and beer lists were adequate and the view was lovely. Brad recommended the crab cakes and they were crisp and flavourful. We had the goat cheese flatbread, which was generously topped and delicious. We had the Brussels sprouts, and although they were very undercooked, they were still very tasty. But the HANDS DOWN highlight was the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Perfectly cooked, perfectly sauced, squishy brioche bun...we whimpered through the whole thing and came back the next day to have it again. This restaurant was a huge hit with us. We dined there again the next day and sat outside on the patio which was lovely. Our server that day did not 'wow ' us the way that Brad had, but she was adequate and the food was just as amazing. We had the chicken burger again and the Kung Pao Bowl. Nice job, guys!

Incredible experience. We brought a large group and everything turned out great. Super friendly staff, the food was better than I anticipated, and the ambiance and view was impossible to beat. We had the short rib and it had literally fallen off the bone before it got to our table. Shout out to Brad our server who rocked the night. We will definitely be back. 5+ star experience

We brought a group of 7 with no reservation and they seated us so nicely! They did say that management wouldn't let them stick any tables together, which we thought was weird... You should let your employees make customer-facing decisions. They're great, hospitable people and know what they're doing. I'm sure they're able to put the tables back to where they were before. The food was great though. My steak was slightly aged. Pasta and flatbreads and salads were all delicious!

What an amazing experience! We were in Waterton for 4 days but had to make 3 or 4 stops at the Lakeside Chophouse! Every meal we had here was fantastic and the staff were phenomenal!! Special shout out to Daniel and Brad for their exceptional service! Can’t wait to come back here again soon and will definitely be sending people this way!
