A&W Restaurant - Waterloo

I recently dined at A&W and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I have two issues with this chain. First, I think plated breakfast should be added to the all-day breakfast menu. Some of us start our day when others are going to bed, so not having access to plated breakfast when I wake up is not ideal. Second, the app needs improvement and reminds me of how I felt when my favorite coffee shop changed their app. Disappointed is my polite way of expressing my thoughts. However, overall, I love this chain and the quality and value of the food is excellent!

I am a frequent customer at A & W and typically go for the buddy burgers. The caramelized onions really make the burger stand out and they are easy to eat since they are small. I highly recommend them. I also enjoy the pumpkin spice milkshake when it's available. Parking at the restaurant is plentiful for its size, with plenty of lot parking and free street parking along Strasbourg road. There is no chance of not finding parking. In terms of wheelchair accessibility, they have ramps and push-button doors for easy access.

Absolutely awful doesn 't begin to describe the experience. Walk in to management berating the staff. Told root beer floats are no longer being served (since when?! . Wasn 't asked if my drink I ordered was for dine-in or out. So I was served a cup not even directed towards the nasty paper straws above a disgusting garbage. Then entered the washroom, but the floor was flooded with toilet water. Feces and toilet paper still floating in the clearly very clogged toilet with nothing but a wet floor sign in the stall.

Very dirty and a women was sleeping in the corner. Service at the counter was nothing but confusing for the women taking the order. She kept leaving to complete other tasks while we ordered. Order of course wasn't correct and needed to be corrected.
