Bidra med feedbackI would recommend this hotel because of it’s valued price and it’s location between two main lakes. I would stay again. Renovations have been completed, so no disruption to your stay. Carpets are new and clean. Rooms have been freshened up, in our bathroom the shower stall has replaced the tub/shower which is a positive. But.... i) the workmanship in the rooms is poor and around the ice maker and side doors entering the building, ii) the light bulbs were not replaced and mix of colour, iii) the biggest issue is the breakfast, it is poor quality, have not had yogurt for weeks, no hard boiled eggs, no waffles, the scrambled and sausage was barely warm. We have stayed in many Choice hotels and this breakfast was by far the worst. I mentioned it to the front desk on day one of our multi-day stay and she was not interested at hearing such or doing anything. Generally the staff assisted in other requirements, I guess the owner/manager cannot or does not wish to deal with the breakfast issues.
This hotel is being renovated. Its called the lux hotel as part of the ascend collection with choice privileges. The quality inn sign is on the road but the building has no name on it so your confused as to where to go. The building is white with black trim and looks like an office building. The interior is very stark and cold. Our room was clean but strange. Large living room with one small couch and no lamps or coffee table. The shower was very hard to figure out. Light in bathroom kept flickering so I wouldn't put it on. Bees were going behind stone work on balcony. Windows were dirty. It looked depressing to me and I couldn't wait to check out the next day. Breakfast was ok. I felt like I was staying in an office. Its supposed to be a boutique hotel and conference center. Ok whatever
Did not get us towels, said no one to get them. Over charged me for a night. We was there for a week and over charged me for the last night. Said they would call me they lied did not call me. Breakfast gone every morning. Not enough help . Very poor service. Will stay there again
Was given 2 towels, and 2 was clothes for 2 people for 4 days. Ask for towels, which was never given any, and we had to go buy them along with tp. The room was damp the entire time when we asked them about it and possible moving rooms we were told that all the rooms were this way. What in the world!!! The pool was not cleaned the entire time we were there. At check out, she voiced the concerns again, and the lady that said she was the manager said we were the 9th party with the same complaints and said, Have a nice day. And walked away. Never again, and this was our go-to place when visiting family. Sad, we can 't give negative views.
STAY ELSEWHERE. Our family has stayed at this property under various brands (out of habit/convenience since the 1980 's. Never again. There is a reason why busses are not parked outside this hotel. They claimed to be renovating but you can 't the renovate disinterested attitude or the staff or poor workmanship. PRO 'S: the mini fridge worked well, the bathroom was clean, ample drawer space, exterior doors were locked 24/7, lobby was spartan but tidy. CON 'S: unvaccumed carpet in room look in corners=gross; only ONE mirror over the sink in the bathroom how 's your outfit look? who knows!?; window shades jammed; new in room coffee makers malfunctioned; pool was not working; no body wash in the dispenser, I 'm pretty sure the Conditioner and Body Lotion were the same product; 'hot ' breakfast was a giant miss : one daily sausage choice with chilled scrambled eggs (straight from the fridge? , overflowing trash, a nice physical space but zero effort to provide guest service; disinterested staff (x10 and rude to my hard of hearing aunt. A bad experience from this guest and the 5 others staying in a total of 4 rooms. All rooms were about the same.
