The Grattan - Waterford

The absolute best bar for food you could ask for, came on a relatively quiet night but didn’t spoil the atmosphere and the staff were the most friendly I’ve come across (shout out Sarah I think her name was forgive me if I’m wrong) top 3 burger I’ve ever had and the Guinness was sublime, see you next time I’m in town

A great Irish bar/restaurant. Food was excellent, (best Irish Beef stew I have had in a long time) and Melisa, the host, was superb. Atmosphere was very relaxing and friendly. Highly recommend visiting the Grattan Bar if you are in or passing through Waterford. Have a look at the horse racing photo's that Melisa has in the back room, and let him tell you the story on each photo.

Excellent home-cooked meal topped only by the welcoming hosts Melisa, Martha and server Hanna. A can't miss!

Walked in not expecting much, walked out well happy after having one of the best fillet steaks in a good few years. Top steak, good beers. The staff made me feel like I was a local. Thank you Grattan Bar. Will definitely come back. Well done.

My wife and I experienced what we felt was an authentic Irish Pub. The service was wonderful and attentive. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was communal. This is a not a fancy place and I felt right at home. PS: I spent 35 years in the food services and don't write reviews for restaurants often. Give it a try!
