Zachary's Pizza House - Waterbury

I was staying nearby on business and wanted something simple. The Mexican pizza sounded good, so I ordered a small. It is so good, I haven't even finished eating before I decided to write a review. Light, fresh, full of flavor! I am not disappointed. If I am ever back in the neighborhood, I'll gladly get this again! We are on a bus trip from Iowa. Tried to get into the Irish pub but would have taken too long as we are on a time schedule and the pub was packed. Walked to Zachary's, ordered pizza to go, they were quickly prepared and quite truthfully, some of the BEST pizza we have ever had!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! It's a small town restaurant serving up a few Italian-American favorites. Service took much longer than a hungry family would like, but not an unreasonable amount of time. We visited when they were slammed with take-out AND dine-in orders. Food was delicious, although there were a couple items we could not order due to them having run out of said items (chicken wings being the one I remember). Friendly service. I would definitely go back, but maybe not on a Saturday night when the family is ravenous (and impatient). Parking: Not a lot of spaces, but with a little patience, customers can make it work.
