Sheep Creek Lodge - Wasilla

My man and I are new in the opposite. so we began to explore the various restaurants in the environment. hands down our favorite restaurant is schaf bach lodge restaurant, only north of weide. we found the owner to be personal and above all eating warm and welcoming. So, keep them on the way to denali for a wonderful meal. we have really found comfort in the hut. Thank you.

Stayed there twice, both times cabin smelled like diesel and had to have the window open. Bartender refused to help me while I waited to check into my room first she ignored me, then when she had helped everyone else and couldn 't ignore me any longer, she asked what I needed and I said to check into my room. She turned and walked away into the kitchen without another word. The waitstaff finally checked me in. Then I got stuck on their road into the cabins because it hadn 't been plowed, and apparently they had a race a few days before which turned the roads into a sheet of ice, and then a couple of wet inches of snow fell on top of that. I requested some gravel, and the response I got was We don 't gravel here. The bartender refused to contact the owner to ask for gravel. The wait staff asked some guys who were just getting done eating to help me. I was in a 20 foot U Haul towing a vehicle trailer, so this was very kind of them to tow me out of there with their truck. I will NEVER go to this place again. Cabins don 't have basic amenities like garbage cans and lamps next to the beds the switch is near the doors so you have to cross the room in the dark to get to the beds.

We were eager to dine here, so we opted not to talk to the locals. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the waitstaff was friendly. I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the experience. My brother-in-law and the kids had burgers and loved them, while my wife had pancakes and also enjoyed hers.

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the service is excellent, all within a cozy atmosphere. The steak sandwich was fantastic! On another visit for breakfast, we tried their cinnamon roll French toast and then indulged in brownie cheesecake—both were delicious! I highly recommend this place!

This restaurant is consistently fantastic! The food is always excellent. I've attended their Thanksgiving buffet a few times and can't wait to go back!
