Bento Box - Wasilla

My experience wasn't great. When I stepped inside the clean but completely empty restaurant it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke (but not outside at all? . I ordered the vegetable roll to go. Kudos to having a veggie roll, most sushi places don't offer it! The guy at the counter was friendly and it only took about 5 minutes for the food. The roll came in a styrofoam takeout box with a teensy amount of soy sauce (I ran out half way though the roll and the rice was on the outside of the roll with the seaweed on the inside. As I pulled away in my car I saw the chef had stepped out back to smoke a cigarette. Fred Meyers offers a better veggie roll. I won't be back

I love this place! Cheapest sushi in town and the staff is so so friendly. I got the California roll, spicy salmon roll, and rockfish nigiri. All three were delicious! My sister loved the rainbow roll, and the miso soup was great. Of course this isn 't a five star sushi joint, it 's a more affordable 'to-go ' spot with great rolls that will satisfy your sushi fix. The decor is very cute and it 's spotless inside the dining room. Highly recommended!!

I stopped in for take out on a Saturday and was impressed. The dining area and kitchen are small but spotlessly clean. The people are friendly and welcoming. The minimalist decor is uncluttered and very classy looking. The portion sizes are reasonable for the cost and the food tastes good. The onion crunch roll is fantastic! I also asked for a vegetable roll that is not on their menu and they made it with no problems. The names of the rolls are clever, with Americanized selections and there is an emphasis on Alaska salmon. Free tea while you wait. It is a great option for lunch or an informal dinner. I'm not sure that it is authentically Japanese but it is very delicious.

It's like the McDonalds of sushi. Everything was pre made. The shrimp tempura, dumplings and miso soup were all microwaved. The people were friendly enough, but they were not busy at all! I would not go back.
