Hawk 'n ' Dove

Took my boyfriend here and was surprised by how affordable the prices for food and drink were (in comparison to the rest of DC). We visited on a Friday night while Congress was in recess so it was quiet, quick, and romantic. The food was great and definitely would visit again! We were not crazy about the cookie but everything else was great! We both got drinks, an entree, and a dessert for around $70.

Had a delightful meal and evening at Hawk n? Dove and the Steak Salad I ordered came out perfectly cooked. The server, Jose, was very friendly and made sure we were happy with our order. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

I come here a lot for brunch. We really enjoy the quiet, easy-going atmosphere, the good is good too. We have had a couple blunders where the cooks do not understand what scrambled eggs cooked well done means, but other than that, it's still one if our favorite places to grab breakfast!

This spot has a lot of character. I was here for a work dinner with a group of people so we had a prix menu. Very limited. The food was bland. The regular food outside our section did look much more colorful and tasty so hopefully it tastes better but I would not recommend it for a group outing. The server was not helpful at all. Great time and wonderful bartender. Nice environment. Local whiskeys and a few locals brews. Food was good.
