In my opinion, the essence of sushi lies in the quality of the fish and rice, and this place excels in that aspect. With every bite, I couldn't help but make a sound of satisfaction; it wasn't just a "mmm," it was a loud MMM! The service is good, the atmosphere is pleasant, but the food here surpasses any other sushi restaurant I've been to in DC. I will definitely be returning for dinner in the near future.

This restaurant is the perfect spot to bring a friend or loved one for dinner. It is located in a bustling neighborhood, making it a lively and exciting dining experience.

Unlike some of the reviews on this site, our experience was wonderful. We were greeted and given a table in the area we wanted. The waiter was on time and did his best to serve us. We ordered the Big Duck that was excellent. The appetizers were also presented on interesting plates and plates. Our neighboring tables with families, all had a great time. SPICES is highly recommended.

We go to Spices a lot. While it wasn't crowded, it took nearly 45 minutes to get some sushi and 2 entrees major drag. They need to up their game.

Good Asian food of all kinds at very reasonable prices. Relaxed atmosphere, good service, food and prices; what more could you ask for?
