The food was excellent and service was friendly but slow. beautiful and creative decor, but the sweat of the talks a bit loud. great for a casual meeting of friends for a great meal.

We went on Thursday night at 7 and the restaurant had only about 4 tables. a few more came during our stay. the drinks tasted down. the fried chicken was good, but the mac and the cheese that came with him was cold. the service was ok, but the person that supplied our food was not clear to starter plates first, so there was no place to stop eating. it took a while before our waiter came back to check the dinge and take a new drink order.

After a lecture about the great migration at the smithsonian broke in. was surprised how empty the restaurant was even for late on Wednesday night. service was efficient and friendly. my friend noticed that at our last visit we looked fat gregory at another table and regretted that she didn't go by to greet him. that became embarrassing when the comic died a few days later.

The food was OK--nothing to right home about. The service was good at the beginning, but as more customer came in, we were forgotten. We had to wait 25 minutes just to see the waiter to get the check.
