Haad Thai - Washington, D.C.

This place is fine, nothing terrible about it. I ordered chicken pad see ew (which they call pad z-u on the menu, whatever). I asked for medium spice, a very normal request in a Thai restaurant, but was told I could apply hot sauce if I wanted. That’s not the same thing though. In fact the dish was not spiced really at all, and wasn’t particularly flavorful aside from that.With so many choices, I don’t see myself coming back here.

My husband and I were craving Thai food while visiting DC for the day... I'm glad we found this restaurant! Kind staff, rapid service, delicious food that was reasonably priced. We ordered the fried calamari and Pad Z-U. It was great! Would definitely return, if we ever come back to the area.

Haad Thai had very good duck (honey soaked) and great sticky rice and mango. the prices are excellent and the seating and service are very good

I have eaten here twice and enjoyed my food each time. The pad Thai is always a safe choice but the drunken noodles with shrimp were exceptional. They have wonderful margaritas and of course, Thai iced tea! The prices are amazing too.

Loved it. Quality food at it's purest and most simple expression. The Drunken Noodles are awsome and the Kao Pad is really good. Service was wonderful and prices are really fair. We will go back for more.Food: 5/5
