Blue Duck Tavern - Washington, D.C.

Here a birthday brunch booked and had a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The food was excellent- fresh, well thought out flavors and simply delicious! We had the Brunch-Burger (which was excellent like his lunch/dinner-time sibling) and the steak and eggs special of the day- all great! The brunch cocktails were also really funny! Brunch was so good, we had to take a few home and so we ordered the apple cake to go and that on our own is another food review! I recommend this beautiful place!

All dishes were excellent, especially the fish. Wine list and choice also excellent. A little disappointed by the choice of desserts.

This was a pleasant surprise. The food was AMAZING! Our waiter Rob was attentive, friendly and funny! The bone marrow was the best of everything.

I don't know how this place manages to make the most ordinary dishes taste absolutely amazing! Thank you for providing a memorable experience!

While staying at the Park Hyatt we had breakfast for 3 days and one dinner at the Blue Duck. Every meal was delicious, well-presented and service was excellent. Breakfast for 2 at $120 was well over the top in cost. So I wouldn’t say 5-star on value. Ambience was wonderful and covid safe with the outdoor seating. Indoors lacked warmth and definitely felt like a hotel restaurant. But I believe that was a factor of being cautious due to COVID. I’m pleased they kept tables distant and covid safe. All in all a great place to have a wonderful meal this winter.
