Bidra med feedbackWhat a great meal! The service was great and the food was so tasty! I had the curry variety platter which was generous but not overwhelming. Everything was delicious (chicken, lamb, spinach, lentils, rice). Appetizers were very nice as well. I look forward to returning and trying out some more dishes. The staff were also very friendly with our toddler son. Atmosphere was great too.
Great dining experience, very pleasant staff. Food was very good as was the presentation and value. Speaking of value for money, if you give a restaurant one star in DC because it’s too expensive you may be better of having a Wawa sandwich or cooking at home for yourself… grocery stores offer affordable, abundant selections of fresh and tasty component ingredients for you to make anything you want, let the YouTube or tick tok be your cookbook. I will return, very nice restaurant 4/4stars.
Guys, let me just say something. This is the tastiest Indian food I have ever had in my entire life. It is the best quality you will find, which is why it’s very expensive. Yes, maybe the service isn’t perfect but the food that they serve is quite literally sent from god. I don’t get Indian food anywhere else because it’s all very bad compared to the food that this amazing restaurant makes. My favorite dishes are the chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, butter chicken, with garlic naan. The chicken is cooked to perfection. They do not serve small portions, the bowls that they use look small but believe me, it’s very hard for me to finish even one of them as the food is so filling. I am an extremely tough critic, and seeing that this place has a 4.1 made me upset. If we are judging solely on food it deserves a 5/5 and I say this with complete sincerity. Good job Heritage India. Thank you for making one of my favorite foods of all time. Best, -M
Have been multiple times and always enjoyed my meal. Staff has always been very friendly as well and happy to provide recommendations on what to order.
This is my favorite Indian food restaurant in DC. The lamb vinadaloo is the best here. It's spicy and full of flavor. The rasmalai is one of the best.
