Probably the best breakfast in town. Service is usually good. A lot of cool antique and vintage stuff to look at, along with local artist paintings.

We eat breakfast here ALOT! My favorite French Toast anywhere- they also have a great Raspberry French Toast! Huge Omelets for hubby too! Portions are all generous everything is ALWAYS good! Staff is always pleasant even being so busy! Historic 100 year old+ building smells like the cozy cedar of an up north cabin it's a real cool atmosphere you won't see anywhere else in this area! Everything is super clean too. They even offer punch cards which fill up real quick when you like it like we do! Of course they offer lunch too, AND Club 57 upstairs offers lunch dinner also. Starfire Grill upstairs was also open before CoVid I hope it opens again- best Supper Club feel you will find anywhere in Southern MN! Hoping it opens again- the atmosphere food was AMAZING!

So I would like to clarify that the first time I went to Johnny beans I had a great experience, the service was relatively quick and the food was good. However the second time I went it was the opposite, we were seated and waited about 15 minutes to get served beverages and proceeded to wait another hour until we got our food, even people who had arrived after us were served their beverages and food sooner than us who had been there much longer. We didn’t really get an explanation or an apology at the very least for the poor services. Will never be going back there.
