Governor Francis Inn - Warwick

On 8/15, we were a party (w reservation) for 9 that grew to 11 and the hostess Kim (she 's super) made the best to accommodate all of us. Our One waitress struggled to serve that big of a group and we all quickly notices she was acting annoyed and took on a negative attitude. We even noticed her dropping the plates with the food on top of the silverware and poor fine attention gestures. At the end the food was good ok!. The drinks were small but the charges for these were as for a large sized, poor customer value there. The dining room vacated while we were all still there and our request to merge our tables to join the 2 separated groups was turned down. No attempt was made to go above n beyond for our group. At the end we left approx. $500 there and none of us were impressed. Sorry.

Always great food, really good prices, and friendly and prompt service. Local gem that has been around for many years. Also good for catering menu, especially around the holidays. Can order sides to bring home.Food: 4/5

Been here many times and every time they don't disappoint had the fried calamari which was on point for dinner we had the fried clams served with baked potato and this amazing apple butternut squash. The other meal was baked stuffed scrod with shrimp and scallops topped with lobster bisque. Will never be disappointed with the portions always take some home. Staff is great friendly and on top of your needs during your visit also prices are very reasonable for the quality of product you receive.

Can't think of much to complain about at this place. Wait to be seated was quick even though the place was absolutely packed. Hostess was all smiles and professional. We were seated and within maybe 30 seconds someone was at our table with fresh bread and butter. Waitress was there within 2 minutes. Friendly as all heck was Loretta, what a great person and server she was. Even though she had like 10 tables she was waiting on it felt like we were the most important. Appetizers and meals were all very good. And wow the portions were large for the price. We ended up eating what we could and took the rest home. Very glad we tried this placeWe will gladly plunk down some more hard earned money for a flawless execution again. Well done and thank for taking care of us. See you again.Updated.
