We arrived in Leamington Spa for an afternoon visit and saw this place while looking for a parking space. My Yunnanese companion couldn’t wait to try it! The fried spring rolls were the best I’ve had anywhere; fresh, hot and delicious! We both had rice noodle soup obviously, if you know Yunnanese cuisine one seafood and one beef. Both excellent! Mine had plenty of seafood and her beef was tender and succulent. Apparently not as good as you’ll find in Yunnan but she still said it was very good, which is praise, indeed, from her. With two teas, the total came to £26.40, which was exceptional value. And the service was friendly and very quick. The place is Spartan but very clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommended.

Quite honestly the GOAT (greatest of all time) restaurant in Leamington Spa. Me and my girlfriend could think of no where better to spend a Saturday evening. Where else would we be but eating a huge bowl of delicious noodles that hardly break the bank in todays climate?! WE LOVE YOU WOFON!

Fabulous find on a chilly Monday evening. We wanted a difficult off menu request (bean sprouts, vegetarian and not spicy) and we were cooked a wonderful starter of gyozas followed by noodles with amazing vegetables and lots of bean sprouts in a very tasty sauce. A great formula simple decoration, friendly staff, and quickly cooked food. Will definitely be returning again soon and will heartily recommend.

It’s rare these days to get such an excellent meal which combines quality, good value and a generous serving but that’s what we got at hofun. I had duck noodle soup on thin egg noodles and my wife had the Tom yum. My dish was very tasty, but next time I will have the Tom yum. It was packed with seafood, sweet tomatoes and fresh veg. The soup base had a lovely body with a sweet spicy depth. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to going back next time we visit.
