This pub is fantastic, with delicious food and a wonderful hotel as well. It offers everything you could want in a dining experience. The bar staff and locals are incredibly friendly too. Ok, so maybe I was confused, maybe I thought if you put a price in the name of the shop, then that was what you paid. I've been to pound land, pound stretcher, even the 99p shop, all trying to be true to their namesake. 4 penny shop! Pah! One pint of beer? Not 4 pennies I'll tell you that! Jokes aside, a nice little pub that feels like a local without the locals offering you out for a fight for not being locally enough. Next time I'm in Warwick to watch little people ride food round a field, I'll pop back in here, before I lose the rest of my money on guessing which pixie/horse combo might win.

Within minutes of sitting down the waitress brought the menu's over. Waited about 15 minutes for our food. Had an excellent lunch of Steak Ale pie, savoy cabbage, delicious gravy with a side of crispy chips. Everything was perfect, will definitely be back. Service: 5 Location: 5
