Caledonian Hotel - Warrnambool

We had a great time at the bistro, especially with the cozy open fire providing warmth in the winter. We decided to try the local fish and chips and it was an excellent choice - the fish was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We dined at the Caledonian Hotel on Fairy Street in Warrnambool several times and each time we tried something different, all of which were fantastic.

After a long journey, we arrived at the picturesque harbor feeling tired and hungry. Years ago, we had a pleasant meal at Hotel Victoria, so we decided to dine there. However, to our disappointment, the maitre d' was incredibly rude. We then decided to explore our options and found a small, charming restaurant across the road. The staff there were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. The food portions were generous and well-prepared. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal at a reasonable price. Do not hesitate to visit this hidden gem!

Port fairy is world famous for eating good. it is a paradise with exceptional natural beauty and great festivals and events. but we did not find this in the caledonian hotel. the bar was great – full of locals. but that was really poor. I choose the of the day – provided that it would be the most popular product on the menu – it would be fresh. however caledonian chicken was really roast hard to chew and extremely dry. my wife had the other pub classic – a chicken parma – and it lacked taste and was hard. the server asked about our meal at the end – we highlighted our experience – and they said they were feedback to the huh. some natives have brought us into this pub – but I guess maybe we have heard the wrong people. port fairy is famous for eating. now – not the caledonian

A very well run regional town pub. Can dine in bistro, main bar or sports bar areas. Good menu choices and reasonable serve sizes. Staff are friendly and delivery of food order was efficient. Would eat there again if in area. Both on and off...street parking available.
