Ikea - Warrington

Usually have a great experience here but today was really poor. Food in the restaurant was half cold when we got to our tables especially the mushy peas. Air con on full blast in the restaurant didn’t help. Went to grab a snack at the end of the small cafe section. Awful service grabbed 2 teas and the staff turned the machine off at 9. We were standing around for about 10 minutes thinking it was just cleaning but it was actually a full clean and power down, when the cafe was full of people. Had to ask for a refund only for the staff to find it highly amusing the machine was off, no apology for the inconvenience and then had to call another member of staff to issue a refund. I understand wanting to get cleaned up and leave early on time but cleaning up around us and turning machines off well before close isn’t good customer service. Not had a bad experience here before but this was very inconvenient. Would consider the Manchester store in future.

How can you cook pasta with tomato sauce containing chili and black pepper and offer it as a CHILDREN'S MENU? Poor children, this is a dish for adults and only extremely healthy people who eat it every day. It is need to change the menu for CHILDREN!

Tasty food at very reasonable prices. The meatballs here can’t be beaten for the price. The restaurant is located about half way through the store so great for a break away from shopping.

Nothing better than a stressful massive circuit around ikea getting stuck in sections you have no business in THEN the meatballs , gravy , chips and peas . Marvellous ! Best bit of the experience

First visit for a while, meatballs as good as ever and price seems to have come down considerably ? reasonable as it use to be, also now offered peas. They do however need to sort some type of menu as we saw items available that were not advertised
