Slack's Hoagie Shack

This is the favorite place of my family to order from. Every time I enter the place, I was greeted directly by the owner. The food has always been fantastic and cheap. My children refuse to eat a cheese steak from anywhere else. Really grateful that we have such a place in our community.

Visit this location I must say that was probably the best customer service I have experienced from a restaurant. The owner was very passionate about his restaurant and made sure that we had a great culinary experience. We ordered a Steak Hoagie (both amazing) the bread was super fresh! Also had the curly carol fries mozzarella sticks. Everything was excellent. The owner also gave us 2 free fried Oreos to try for us (also amazing). As a person of color I am usually afraid of abuse in private restaurants I shy away from looking for new places because of previous experiences (especially in the district areas). The owner (if I knew how to spell his name, I would list him) made my husband, I feel welcome to be in the area. We will definitely visit again!

The most consistent place for cheese steaks. I won't lie, we had a bad delivery experience in the 22nd. January, but the owner immediately corrected this. Always check the website or call it for their hours, although to make sure that they are open before you go. We recommend their cheeseries and cheese steaks.

Here on the way home from work and I was very impressed. It is rare to find so many veggie hoagies in a farm, so thank you! I finished with a traditional veggie hoagie and other family members a cheese steak and a tuna pack. Everyone loved their meals. The veggie hoagie was absolutely amazing and has taken over for primos in my personal faves. The eggplant was thin and crispy and the paprika, salad and tomatoes added a freshness. The provolone added some sharpness. The roll was soft and tasty. Absolutely perfect. We'll be back. Also the staff is friendly and the kitchen was clean.

Very good food, i got a bacon cheese steak, not greasy, good tasting steak and an excellent homemade roll. The man who cashed was out was very friendly, will come back soon!
