Wetlands Restaurant & Pub - Warrens

Would have given it a 0 if it was available. My wife and I stopped there to get something to eat while driving to Florida waited by the hostess stand and we were totally ignored. So we left and ate somewhere else.

This is the only bar inside the hotel and it closed at midnight and the supervisor who made that decision.....Tanya was her name said I'm closing because it was slow all DAY...... Now this was NIGHT....,there was at least 15 people actively drinking, socializing and playing games when she decided to close. We also had drank all evening to find out the next day that happy hour is 9pm-1:00am and all of our drinks should have been a $1.00 off..... We were charged full price all night!!! I can't believe the owner would allow the staff to close the business when you are making money not to mention a Friday night early closing!?!?!Saturday evening we go back and the manager was present (did not get her name) and we did speak with her and she said she did not see anything wrong as people were not drinking. I told her we were with this people all weekend and yes they were drinking. We also told her about the happy hour pricing that were not given and that was the only thing she seemed alerted by. She did not apologize and we were not compensated for it either. On this Saturday there was 9 and they still closed at midnight. I understand when its slow but when you are the only place for people to hang out on the property there should be some type of closing expectation. If there was another place we could have went without driving we would have!!!

We are local people and woud like to continue going there but not as long as the food is bad and then have to pay for it. Love the atmosphere and the restaurant, but the food was not good. The steak was hot and burned. The potatoes were cold and so was the vegetable, the butter would not melt. The first dinner rolls they brought out were dry and crumbly, so they brought out different ones, they were OK, but not the best. The waitress was friendly and very nice, We felt sorry for her because she had to serve us the meal, and she was embarrased.What kind of chefs do they have there? We go to the Ground Round and never had a bad meal there. If the same people own both places I would think the food at Wetlands would be just as good as the Ground Round.

Second time staying at the hotel. Thought we would give the restaurant another try. It was a mistake. The food was pretty bad. I don't think we will try it again.

Worst service I've ever recieved. Didn't recieve drinks till 20 mins after sitting down, 15 mins after ordering. Waitress (Amanda) was very rude.
