The -b-q Pitt - Warren

Ate here about lunchtime, and we had a bit of a wait. The place gets pretty busy at lunch and dinner time. Ordered the catfish and shrimp basket. Fish was cooked perfectly. Most times, I find it overcooked in general, but not here. The shrimp was good, too. The hushpuppies were melt in your mouth! Those were moist and tasty. Forget the French fries. They were old and cold. Not good. I gave the food a 4 on account of those fries. Definitely will go back, though. Overall, it was worth the visit and then some.

Ok, I was a little skeptical going into this as some of the reviews weren't good. We had the pork ribs, and they fell off the bone juicy. They are busy, so it might be a couple of minutes in line, but it will be worth it. The picture was our leftovers..

I’ve done a couple of bulk orders for 20-25 people with these guys. Their service is excellent and I get positive feedback on their food from everyone. They won’t even let me tip them. I will continue to give them business each time I’m in the area!

It's difficult for me to write a bad review because I love this place. I ordered a chicken basket and the strips were cold in the middle. The fries were soggy and the bread was barely toasted.

Why can't people be trusted with proper plates, cups and knives and forks? Why can't this place wash up instead of creating so much single use waste?
