Bidra med feedbackI recently dined at this local restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The food was undeniably delicious, offering a satisfying blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. The place itself is charming, with a pretty and welcoming ambiance that enhances the dining atmosphere. If you're in the mood for good food in a lovely setting, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
I really hate to say this because there are so many things I really like about this place. The staff is great. The ambiance is totally my vibe. The drinks are always unique and tasty. But, for the most part, the food itself was just disappointing tonight. I know there have been some menu changes, but why would you mess with one of the most popular item--the General Tsos Cauliflower? Ours came tonight with hardly any sauce and the flavor that I've had a few times before was just not there. My husband's mac and cheese was meh. But he was truly SAD to see how much the shrimp toast has changed. Sauce was again minimal (why are you guys anti-sauce all of a sudden) but also very concentrated. It was so salty my husband lip burned for a couple hours afterwards. Part of the original flavor was there with lots of garlic but it really needed to be diluted with more broth. The original broth was to die for and had tomatoes and other stuff in there. He always wishes the shrimp toast came with pasta as an entree. I got the lugar sandwich and it was pretty tasty.
Food was amazing highly recommend the place to eat at for birthday, family dinner, couples dinner, etc. However the menu does change with the season!
The staff and menu at Heritage continues to always be top notch, and ever-growing with creativity! I have dined here quite a few times over the years; the service, the unique mix of flavors, and quality of food is A ! We held a Bridal Shower for my sister last year in their event room upstairs. Michelle and her entire staff were so attentive and kind, and even with our event being in the middle of an unexpected March snowstorm, they did not hesitate with anything. The delicious family-style brunch from that shower is still something so many friends and family talk about! I have had the chance to experience the new updated menu, and it is just as fantastic as it always has been. There are so many new items we are excited to continue to try, but standouts we're the pork belly, the lamb birria, and the blackberry burrata salad. With such a variety on the menu, it's always fun to mix, match, and share plates whenever I go! I would strongly recommend Heritage Food Drink for your next event, a date night, or fun brunch out with friends and loved ones (the bottomless mimosas deal cannot be beat) !
The food was AMAZING! We had Deviled Eggs, Fried Pork Belly, Crispy Artichoke Dip Platter, The Smash Burger and Chicken Milanese. Great drink selection too. Our waiter provided exemplary service and was a chill guy! The live music (wish I caught the name of the two dudes doing modern covers with piano) added to the great atmosphere. The only thing I four starred for was the atmosphere aspect of the volume and close seating to other patrons. I know it was a Friday night but it was so super loud and our seating was close enough to the group next to us that we felt like we were dining together and part of their conversation lol! But otherwise... A fantastic place that we will gladly eat at again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
