Fonda Mexican - Wantirna South

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and healthy too! After a long day at work, we decided to go without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to find a place where the staff were welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Whoever hired and trained them deserves a perfect score of 10/10! Thanks! The initial greeting was professional, and the girl at the cash register did not rush us as we decided on our order. She was helpful in explaining the different meal options. The table service was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, especially the perfectly cooked quesadillas with a flavorful but not overly spicy sauce. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant had a bright and airy layout with comfortable seating. Upstairs, there was another bar and restroom with good music and vibrant decorations. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant felt joyful and provided a welcome escape from the busy Knox Ozone area.

This was my first visit to fonda mexican and I was very impressed by the facility and the ambiente before we ordered. the service was friendly and the food was delicious.

My wife and I went today (Monday) to a late lunch at 1400 hours or so. I wanted to see how a Mexican restaurant was, as I had only ever eaten Mexican at home or in a friendly house, that. mexiko the venue was modern with non-transmitting music (lounge style) when we went through the door, a young smile came up and showed us a place near the window and ran briefly through the menu. I had the chicken taco that I enjoyed a lot, just enough spicy for a western palate and at the same price as a mcdonalds burger, was pretty good. I could have eaten some of them. the woman had chips because she hates something spicy. I loved the chopolte sauce that came with them. the chips were super, hot and so crispy. it was a little strange, though they don't serve coffee, I thought everyone sold coffee. the young waitress said that we were welcome to go over the street and buy them and bring them back. all on, I thought it was reasonable expensive to eat that we had was very nice, service was good and yes I would go back

Have been to this fonda a few times now and it (like the other in hawthorn is tasty and service is contemporary. I have ordered and tasted the drawn porosquesadilla, falafel burrito, nachos, chips and käsequesadillas as well as the winter lentil chili dish. from this fonda and they all recommend. oh and I can not forget the ingwer passionsfruit homemade soda, whose only problem is, there is not a free refill (big fan!

The only positive aspect of this restaurant is the friendly customer service. However, the nachos were extremely salty and burnt, the prices were too high, and overall it was a disappointing experience. I do not plan on returning.
