Barwon Club Hotel - Wandana Heights

Great service, I admit. the waitress was amazing and helpful. now the vegan pornstars, man was that a farewell or what? I ordered to stir fry and somehow has been in soy sauce. I tried my best to give one away, but I wouldn't have eaten that. it is not a traditional iron frog, nor is it inventive enough to pass. I wondered how it would have cost, as if I had not asked to add chili flakes. I should've been tempting myself.

Barwon club hotel is a serious geelong institution. near the cardinia park stage, this place has a wonderful geelong atmosphere. two visited with a Geelong Brother in the law, which has considerable expertise in Geelong irrigation holes. it is one of his favorites. we sat in the beer garden outside on a perfect sunny Saturday and broke a few shaders of great northern. fantastic. this place has a large band space from behind and private function barn satisfied with several crystal disco balls. are that many good times have been here. pub grub is advising great (although we did not eat at this place). fantastic old pub building circa recommended.

We have a meal here every time Geelong play and we get the best service from Katie every time. We have been coming her now for many years and we are looked after like family members. The atmosphere befor a game is not to be...missed, not to mention the food is pretty good as well.

Had a meal with friends at this hotel and although the service was just ok the noise level made it a nightmare as the stark interior echoed noise from everyone around and you could not enjoy the meal or converse with fellow dinners without talking...loudly and that only made it worse. The food quality was good but if you want a quiet meal with friends dont bother.

Covid restrictions have recently eased in regional Victoria, so our cycling group decided to have lunch at the Barwon Club Hotel after our ride. I was very impressed how they looked after our bikes, allowing us to safely store them inside their premises. Laura was...a great host. My chicken schnitzel was cooked perfectly. All the other meals our group ordered looked great too. It was no trouble for her to change my sides from salad to veggies and to make up a chocolate milk drink for me. That's service! I will definitely be back.
