R&a Kitchen Pizzeria - Waltham Forest

I recently returned from this restaurant after ordering a pizza with extra pepperoni and olives. Unfortunately, when I got home, I discovered that my pizza not only did not have the toppings I requested, but it was also very wet and soggy. It was disappointing because the restaurant had a nice ambiance and I was excited to have a good pizzeria in the neighborhood.

I'd walked past this place and thought how great it was to have something that looked good so local. A friend and I decided to go there to eat last night and it was REALLY good. Attentive yet not over the top service, well prepared and very tasty food and not expensive. We had a couple of the veggie pizzas plus the deep fried brie and noticed a whole host of other happy customers with a variety of different meals. While we were there we heard 3 different people saying thanks to the chef so I expect they were as satisfied as we were. Highly recommended and child friendly.

I have been to this place twice now with my family and will be returning again with my boyfriend soon. It is a completely hidden gem. Although small, the restaurant is Cosy and inviting. The menu is extensive which plenty of choice for all types of eaters. The starters are delicious especially the calamari. All the mains look amazing but the outstanding has to be the Kiev. Everything is prepared fresh and served hot. Make sure to leave room for desert! We are lucky to have this in Walthamstow and I hope that it stays running for a long time.

I live a short walk away and have been keen to visit for a while finally managed to visit in early Jan (on a quiet Monday night) and enjoyed every second of it. Olives and garlic bread to start with, followed by spaghetti carbonara for my partner and pizza (with aubergine, sun dried tomato and extra pepperoni) for myself both lovingly created and very tasty. All followed by a superlative tiramisu. Attentive, personal service. Excellent food. 5 min walk from home. Sheer bliss.

Came here first for a Family meal and then back again a few days later. Both times food and service were excellent. It is not a big place and suspect that booking will start to become necessary, especially at weekends. Good value as well, wines not too pricey.
