Cast Iron Grill - Waltham Abbey

The food was average. 12.5 service fee, 20 for 4 persons.

I was really excited about this visit, we stayed before our wedding 6 years ago, so thought it would be a nice find. However the service was awful . The staff were nice polite however we were in there for 3 hours 90 of that time waiting for staff. There were 4 other tables of customers, so it was not busy at all. There was not much of an atmosphere, probably because it was so empty. I cannot even remember there being any music!! Food was ok, but bland. Kids only get one side choice with theirs and do not have much to choose from at all. I’d at least expect t them to be able to have a burger or a proper sausage considering it’s a grill restraunt. All in all 180 bill and certainly not worth it.

The food was mediocre. There was a 12.5% service charge, and the total bill came to £20 for 4 people.
