Bidra med feedbackStayed for a night at The Westin Waltham. We checked in super late into the night, but the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We booked a traditional room with a king sized bed. The room was clean, but not the cleanest as there was a stain on the bottom of the bed. Doesn't directly affect me but reflects on their attention to detail. The best part of this room was the king bed, as the bed was really comfy and spacious, and the sheets were astonishingly soft (I wish I knew where to buy them for my own bed TT). We got two breakfast tickets during check in for the next morning. When we got to the eating area, they gave us an option to use the ticket for the AYCE buffet or to order from the menu up to a $25 value. The food was decent pretty standard breakfast from a hotel, with eggs, sausage, bread, oatmeal, pancakes, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and orange juice.
Spent 2 nights at the Westin in Waltham for a meeting. When I arrived the hotel had very nice curb appeal. I was able to check in early which was appreciative. Staff were all very nice. Anytime I requested assistance they were available. They were not always accommodating but not sure they can always be. My room was nice very simple and clean. Not much of a view (especially for being a Hilton honors member) but again maybe there were many higher ranked guests. The pillows were super soft and the bed was comfortable. There is one restaurant that I know of. Located in the lobby they have a good variety of options. I got mine to go. Everything was hot and very tasty. One of the more innovative items they have is the concierge Robot. I was able to witness this robot in action (yes I followed it). One of the rooms requested a few toiletries. Instead of having a person bring these items to the room the robot was deployed. The needed items were put into the robot, pressed a few buttons and off he went. I watched the robot wait for the elevator, get on, get off and deliver the toiletries to the guest. Amazing. I need one of these at home!
I recently stayed at the Westin Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The rooms were impeccably clean. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness is commendable, and I also utilized the robot to deliver some toiletries to my room. The hotel has a nice variety of delicious meals offered at the restaurants located inside like relish bistro which offer a great breakfast buffet. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
I've come to expect fairly decent quality from the Westin brand so I was super nervous to book this place based on the really bad reviews on Yelp. I ended up very pleased with my experience. The room was super clean though a little cramped with the amount of furniture they had in it. I would have removed at least one of the chairs by the window to make more room but otherwise a very solid clean room is what I got. The facility is really nice, looked clean and the on site restaurant was a neat feature though I didn't visit the restaurant. Parking was at a cost but I should have taken my chances paying whatever the parking prices were because hotel charged me for parking yet when I left the parking lot there was no barrier to stop me from leaving hence no payment seemed to be required. I feel a bit ripped off paying for parking when I could have probably parked for free. Not a bad hotel at all and within a good proximity to the general Boston area if you don't want to pay the $500/night in the heart of Boston.
I grew up coming to this hotel. It was my favorite hotel on the east coast. I recently stayed there again for the first time in years and I was so so disappointed. Mind you I 'm easy as Sunday morning. The bathroom in our room didn 't have any body wash, and our blankets had a massive blood stain on it that we saw the next morning. Sickening. The staff said that looks fresh as if I left it there. I think I 'd know if I was bleeding out on my hotel bed. I mean see the photos. Really stinks that this place took a turn for the worst. You 're better off going somewhere else. Hate to say it, but really.
