Birrieria La Jefa - Walsh

The food here was really good and it came out fast. My only complaint was we never got drink refills even after we asked the waitress several times for one.

I was a HUGE fan when they were located in their food truck. We were so excited to try their new location on Garrison. Our experience happened to be an absolute nightmare. My 17 month old got food poisoning from eating the rice and beans and was throwing up for 3 days after eating there. Further more, they automatically add an 18% tip without notifying you, so when you tip, it’s added to the tip they already charged you. I wouldn’t go back.

The food was pretty bland. I had probably 2 small spoons of meat to my whole dinner plate. The waitresses seem just annoyed with having a job. The atmosphere and building was nice but other than that bleh.

The food was absolutely top notch. The flavors were wonderful. I would definitely recommend trying this place out!

If you haven't tried this place you are missing out! The food is fresh and delicious!I've tried the street taco, which is good, but the quesabirria is so tasty, I can't explore the rest of the menu! The place has a fresh and bright atmosphere. The young staff are all very friendly. This is one of my favorite places in Fort Smith!
