Bidra med feedbackThe service at this restaurant was exceptional, and the food was delicious and full of authentic flavors. The staff was helpful and attentive even though they were busy. I appreciate that the menu offers traditional Pakistani dishes, rather than just plain Balti. I highly recommend trying the Karahis, as they are fresh and absolutely delicious.
Terrible experience at this restaurant. Did not follow any of the government guidelines for covid.Tables were not cleaned properly, waiters were rushing around didn't know what to do. Once seated the waiters refused to take our order, told us to drink cold water and we are very lucky to get a seat. They were very rude to customers they told another family to clear the tables and get lost just because they said the food was off. Waiters and kitchen staff were shouting at each other and the environment was very hostile. Restaurant owner was talking to his staff in an inappropriate manner which was very unprofessional. Extremely disappointed with dera will never visit that restaurant again. We have dined in at other restaurants that were participating in the eat out scheme and they were very calm and were able to run smoothly they were nothing like what we experienced there. We walked out of the restaurant after waiting for 45 mins when no one came to take our order.
I am absolutely shocked by the lack of quality at this restaurant. Despite living just a 5-minute drive away, I received cold food that should have been freshly grilled. The food container was soaked in charcoal, oil, and water, as if the food had been pre-cooked and left to sit. The fries were cold and soggy, looking like leftover scraps. I paid extra for a can of soda of my choice, but they gave me the free option instead. To top it off, I found a hair mixed in with my sheesh kebab. I will never order from this place again. I am so frustrated that I can't even add a picture because my camera is broken.
I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. I went there for a business meeting and the place was empty. I ordered kebabs and a karai, but after forty minutes, the kebabs still hadn't arrived. When I asked the waiter, he said it would be another 15 minutes. A table that had arrived only 15 minutes earlier received their food before us. When I spoke to the manager, he shrugged his shoulders and explained that they were prioritizing phone orders for kebabs. Frustrated, my group decided to leave and go two doors down to Sultans, where we received excellent service and delicious food. It seems that regular customers receive better treatment at Dera. Additionally, I have concerns about the hygiene standards at this restaurant, as we saw yogurt dressings left out on tables for long periods covered in food stains.
This place was recommended I Got the 1kg Lamb Karahi, very tasty home cooked food it didn't disappoint, if you go to Walsall do your self a favour give this restaurant area a look in .
